With steel needle 8 cm. long on jewelled bearings, with circular metal scale, 10 cm. diameter, and anti-parallax mirror, both rotatable about vertical axis. Aluminium base of 9 cm. diameter, marked as four quadrants. Complete with extra needle dimensionally identical to first, but unmagnetised.
