Used to demonstrate how a current loop generates a magnetic field. Consists of an acrylic hoop 12.7 cm in diameter wrapped with 2 coils of copper wire (one coil has 5 turns; the other 10); 3 binding posts, which allow connections to 5,10 or 15 turns; and a compass.
